ABOUT

Joe Zander is a designer and maker based in Northern Germany, working at the

intersection of industrial material and sculptural form.

His lighting objects are conceived as singular works — each piece handcrafted in his

studio from raw industrial components: elastomer, aluminium, borosilicate glass, steel.

The result is a body of work that resists categorization: too precise to be decorative, too

expressive to be purely functional.

Every object in the collection is unique. There are no production runs, no multiples —

only individual works developed through a consistent structural

language and realized by hand. Zander's background spans architecture, graphic design,

and visual art, informing an approach that treats every object

as a resolved composition rather than a product.

Selected works are EU design-protected.
